I'm signing in tonight being the bearer of bad news. Barron David Wilcox (RCEME/EME) passed away May 6th at home in London. He lost the battle with cancer after a 3yr fight. I had the pleasure of knowing Barron during my career in Lahr, Kingston and London. He entertained many of us with his band in Lahr, the Maint coy Lowbed as their stage when on Fall Ex. He was very well liked in GMD and will be sadly missed. ARTI ET MARTI.

My regards go out to the members and families of the US army 507 Maint Unit serving in Iraq (March 2003). I remember close contacts and friendships with this unit while in Germany in the seventies, during NATO exercises. They were fellow maintainers who when doing their job fell into harms way.
