I'm signing in tonight being the bearer of bad news. Barron David Wilcox (RCEME/EME)
passed away May 6th at home in London. He lost the battle with cancer after a
3yr fight. I had the pleasure of knowing Barron during my career in Lahr,
Kingston and London. He entertained many of us with his band in Lahr, the Maint
coy Lowbed as their stage when on Fall Ex. He was very well liked in GMD and
will be sadly missed. ARTI ET MARTI.

My regards go out to the members and families of the US army 507 Maint Unit
serving in Iraq (March 2003). I remember close contacts and friendships with
this unit while in Germany in the seventies, during NATO exercises. They were

The packages for the September RCEME Soldier Apprentice reunion have been sent
out, and if you have not received yours or are in contact with any other
ex-apprentice who is not signed onto this database, please let me know and I
will have a package sent. I also phoned a couple of other hotels other than the
two mentioned in the package and got better prices, and also Kingston is fairly
quiet on this particular week-end. If anyone has found cheaper rooms please pass
them on to all of us. Hope to see a great turnout this Sept.

This is amazing! Thanks to Hans Collmorgen I have just looked at pictures of old
friends I never thought I would ever see again. When we were in Germany Hans was
good enough to drive me on his vacation to see his relatives over there. Good to
