Flew from Comox to Edmonton for the Western EME Bonspiel hoping to reunite with acquaintances of old. Very poor turnout from southern Alberta. Hope it wasn't the fact that I was there, or worse, members are loosing interest. Hopefully a better turnout next year.

My Dad served at the RCEME School in Kingston I believe 1950 to 1966 when he was promoted and posted to 1 Field Workshop Calgary. He is retired and living in Victoria BC having recently suffered a stroke. I know he would really enjoy hearing from any old comrades or apprentices he came into contact with. First visit and would like to thank you for the info on Canadian cemetaries,I was able to see my son's headstone, first time in 25 yrs it is quite different than the last picture a rose bush on every plot.I really enjoyed the pictures and comments in the database.Thank you I will keep in touch.

Hey just a short note to say I'm still alive and kicking. Currently working for the city of Calgary (Calgary Parking Authority, Maintenance Dept). Also part time at the Home Depot and having a ball.
