It has been quite some time since I signed in. Just to keep everyone informed, I retired from the CF on the 5th of July 2002 (After 34 years)and came back as a class B reservist to work with the Director of Cadets in Ottawa. I am trying to find out information about my father. He served in WW2 his uniform is green and on the right sleeve has R.C.E.M.E. on a blue patch,2 beige chevrons below that and 3 red chevrons above the right wrist. I also have a bar pin that is multicoloured but my brother Robert has his medals that were also on a bar. Can you help with any info? His name was George Edward Caves born March 28, 1914 Wallace Ave. West End Toronto and died May 18, 1989 at Belleville General Hospital

I am into my last year of service, if I don't get my extension, and thought I would spend some time seeing who else was still around. I left RCEME in 1977 and am seriously out of touch. This is a great vehicle for me to use and I thank Brian Cook for directing me to it. He and I have kept in touch since Apprentices. Now I have to dig out the year book in case anyone gets back to me.
